More Than Access to Horses
We help turn a love of horses into confidence, skills, and opportunity.
Reins of Opportunity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Northwest Arkansas expanding access to the equine industry for girls and young women who may not otherwise have a path in.
Through scholarships, mentorship, internships, hands-on training, and real-world equine connections, we help participants build confidence, practical skills, and a clearer vision for their future.
For many young people, horses are the doorway. What grows from that connection is bigger: responsibility, resilience, trust, leadership, and the belief that new opportunities are possible.
Access
We remove barriers so girls and young women can experience horses, lessons, training, and the equine community.
Mentorship
Participants connect with trainers, horse professionals, and supportive adults who encourage growth and accountability.
Opportunity
Internships, mustang programs, and equine industry relationships give young women real-world experience and direction.
Why It Matters
When financial constraints limit access, talent and passion can go undiscovered. Reins of Opportunity exists to make sure girls and young women with interest, drive, and heart have a chance to step into the barn, learn from mentors, and see what is possible.
